How can the library improve public service with a blog?
Personally I would love it if patrons would interject ideas and or comments about their library. What do they like, what needs improvement and/or how can we better serve them. So many times people share comments and I share them with staff members, but does it reach the people that are required to make the change? A blog gives voice to the public and hopefully those above us who are busy running the behind the scenes will know what the public is thinking directly instead of second hand.
Personally, I would love it if parents would share favorite stories or crafts that they have done with their children. Often, I’m just stumped as to what to do next week for a craft project.
