It seems like it may be a good place to log information that needs be shared with all staff members. It replaces the white board in the staff room. The only problem is that it relies on people logging in to the wiki. Not everyone would log in in time for some events. Of course not everyone will be walking by the whit board either. Hmmm.

July 20, 2007Technology and the Pseudotech
July 20, 2007At the workshop today we were asked how many of us have blogged before. Only 4 out of 9 raised their hands. As I continue with my workshop exercises, I’m watching those 4 type away as the rest of check our handouts. I always thought it was age that separated those who were “wizzes” with computers, but now I really feel, for myself at least, that those of us who want to learn will advance with technology and those of us who are cautious are left behind.
After checking out some other libraries’ blogs. I like the personal comments related to library material. I think the public will see it more approachable.
